Past Memories
Sandy and Christine

Christine and Sandy are driving back to the class reunion, ten years from today.

Sandy - Were going to have such a fantabulous time.

Christine - Awesome

Sandy - I wonder if Shandy gained any weight yet. Remember in school, she used to sit with Justin and she wouldn't eat anything, but then the minute he left there was no stopping her roaming hands.

Christine - Ya, and remember Jody had a cafeteria experience too, ... except she never made it in all the way 'cause she met the door. She didn't have to put on eye make-up all week!

Sandy - I wonder if anybody mailed Jaycee a map with detailed directions? She always seemed so lost, trying to find meaning out of a crack in the wall.

Christine - Poor Lance, since he had no sister, he had very little knowledge of girls and girlie things. I remember sitting in the library when all the Grads were talking about flowers. Lance was wondering if Baby's Breath really smelled like rotten milk! However, with very little feminine knowledge, he still seemed to charm the little elementary girls with his happiness.

Sandy - And then there was Kyle, who would walk away from a conversation without even realizing you were talking to him, ... even though you mentioned his name about a dozen times in the conversation.

Christine - I wonder how many pairs of glasses Judith has gone through since we saw her last? If they weren't lost, the remains were usually found poking out of her backside.

Sandy - Remember how Jen finally got the schedule down pat in our last year? She got to class on time, after her 30 second makeover in the bathroom between classes, ... and nobody could tell the difference anyway.

Christine - Poor Andrew, it was funny how he never stopped on the way to class ... and he still lost the routine fight with Jen over the back seat in Mrs. Shilka's classes!

Sandy - We'll all remember Cara's little smirk coming from the front row, every time she found out she got a test mark just a little bit higher than Amber.

Christine - And then Val, with her singing and dancing episodes in the library, ... between her and Cara, you never knew what was coming next!

Sandy - We actually had quite a bit of talent in our class. Remember when Amber performed a flying leap in volleyball, landing on her back without ever coming close to hitting the ball?

Christine - We also had our very own 'basketball jones'. Who other than Daniel would drop out of gym after the basketball unit, causing the rest of us to have to write a one-page essay on whether or not we think P.E should be mandatory.

Sandy - Speaking of talent, Christine, remember the time you decided to demonstrate your bus driving skills in your desk? Not only did you frighten Lance, but you got the whole class in trouble when Mrs. Shilka found the bus rolled over on it's side.

Christine - Your driving skills weren't much better, Sandy. Remember the day, Lance, Kyle, you and I decided to go bottle-picking in the town of Worsley? I believe it was 'Tacky Day', you in your purple flowered shirt, orange pants and striped knee-highs, running behind the moving car with an open door and no driver, while Lance and Kyle grabbed their seat belts in the back and I grabbed the wheel. That was probably the best workout your car had, which also explains why your brakes don't work any more.

Sandy - Well that about sums up our past memories.

Christine - Yep, ... how about a song for the road??

Skinna merinkey dinky dink
Skinna merinkey do ...
We love you! You know we're cra-zy ...
We love you, ... come on and say it,
You love us too! Shoo boo be doo! Ahhhh!!!!
