Some Grad Class fundraising ideas that didn't make it past the first meeting ...
Lance and Andrew wanted to hire themselves out to trap beaver and collect some money that way. Unfortunately, they discovered that most of the beavers were smarter than they were.
Pictured at the right is the only beaver they were able to find. It wasn't very bright.

Kyle and Daniel built a home-made lie detector out of spare parts laying around the shop. It worked just fine, and they probably could have made some money by selling it. However, they made the mistake of testing it out on Jennifer first, and she didn't much like the way the machine responded every time she answered, and, well ... the guys weren't able to fit all the ... pieces back together in working order ...

Jaycee put her crafts abilities to work and created a tiny little working model of an electric chair, as a protest against capital punishment. She planned to put it on display, and collect donations.
Unfortunately, Andrew and Daniel were playing with it, and blew out all the circuit breakers in the school while trying to roast some marshmallows.

Kyle has told us in no uncertain terms that if we use this picture one more time, he's never going to dress up for fun days again! So we won't.

Jaycee also thought the class could raise a little money by holding a fashion show, where everybody just wore their favourite clothes.
We should point out that it is not true that Jaycee has no fashion sense whatsoever. That's just an ugly rumour started by Andrew when she laughed at the overalls he wore to school one day.
