Winter Carnival
In February, the Grad Class will be organizing a Winter Carnival for students and the community. Here are some of the activities that have been planned. Please contact any member of the Grad Class if you would like to assist with this event.
Snow Eating
Teams line up and take turns eating their way through a pile of snow. Extra points for anyone willing to eat yellow or brown stuff too.
Pants Stuffing
Team members take turns stuffing snow down the pants of another person. Continues until there's just no more room, or until the person being stuffed has tears in their eyes.
Grade Seven Tobogganing
Each team has their own grade 7 student, who is the toboggan. Team members sit on the toboggan and are pulled around the course as fast as possible.
Snow Sculpture
Each team builds a snow sculpture, which must resemble Jody. There is no winner. The one with the best likeness will be presented to Jody as a keepsake.
Rope Climbing
Each team receives a rope and a bucket of water. After wetting the rope and allowing it to freeze in an upright position, each team selects one person to climb it. The team whose climber gets the highest is the winner.
Hot Chocolate Art
Every member of the team receives a cup of hot chocolate. Team members choose a flat, undisturbed area of snow, and by carefully dribbling hot liquid out of their mouths, create a picture on the snow. The most creative picture will be selected by Jaycee, who is an expert in dribble art.
Long Underwear
Any player who is wearing long underwear automatically receives a prize. Jennifer will be the 'long underwear checker'.
Hot Dog Races
Team members take turns travelling through an obstacle course as fast as possible, while carrying an uncooked hot dog between their legs.
