Rough Draft November 2000
These are copies of sketches made by Jaycee and presented to the decorating committee at a meeting on Nov. 6. Not everyone seemed to like the suggestions, which was voted on at the November Grad meeting. Further plans were called for.

THE MEAL:
The committee had a difficult time deciding on the menu for the banquet, but eventually came up with three entrees, one of which was to be selected at the next Grad meeting.
|
Choice #1: Kraft Dinner Dumplings
An appetizing main course proposed by Christine, who made them for Carmen's wedding, where, she says, they went over really well. The maraschino cherry garnish was a nice touch, we thought.

|
Choice #2: Prairie Chicken Linguini
This unusual wild game and traditional Italian cuisine mixture went over well with everyone who tasted it, including Andrew's dog. I was Lance's recipe. Some who tasted it would have preferred that it had been plucked a little more thoroughly.

|
Choice #3: Liver and Marshmallow Roll
This was the first thing Val ever made in cooking class, and she really liked it. She still had it. It didn't go bad, or anything! So everyone tasted it, and a little while later, after eveyone returned to the room, we decided to put it on the list just so we wouldn't hurt Val's feelings.
