![]() Our combined grade 5 and 6 class has been participating in the D.A.R.E. program. D.A.R.E. stands for 'Drug Abuse Resistance Education', and was presented to our students by Corporal Steve Wright of the Fairview R.C.M.P. Detachment. Over several months our students learned about all the negative results of using drugs. They also learned that tobacco and alcohol are also drugs and are not healthy. To find out more, you can visit the smoking and drinking & driving pages on our website. Learn how you can become a Zero Hero, or maybe you can help someone look after an idiot. Student graduated from the program on March 25th, and were presented with T-shirts and certificates. Congratulations! |
