Parents stand beside us through the good times and the bad. They have done so many things for us throughout the years that make a list would almost be impossible, for I don't know where to even begin. I will start by saying that from the start, when they held our hand to take us to school for the first day of kindergarten, until now when they are all sitting around us as we are ending our thirteen years of school, they have always been there to support us. They have shaped us into the people we are today, and so our success is also their success. As we are getting ready to move on into the world as individuals, we can be assured that our parents will continue to congratulate us when things go well, and to pick us up when things are tough. As we have all gathered here today, I would like to say on behalf of the graduating class, thanks mom and dad, for you have seen us through all life's obstacles up until this point. As we move on now, we know that your hand will always be there to hold when we need you. We love you and thank you for loving us. To the parents! |
