Thanks by Jennifer In order to put things together for Grad, there is a lot of work that needs to be done. The Grad class put on many fundraisers throughout the year and this would not have been possible if we did not have parent volunteers. Our parents have put in many hours helping organize and run our many fundraisers. Without their help, Grad would not be as great as it is today. On behalf of the graduating class we would like to say to all the parents: "Thank-you very much for your time, hard work, and effort. Your selflessness has helped to get us to where we are tonight". We would like to also thank Lisa Schneider and Jessica S. for doing such a great job being our MC's, Laryssa Speck for being our guest speaker, Mrs. Fezuli for taking pictures for us, Anna Basnett for your help setting up and keeping us sane. Thank you to all the community members for purchasing tickets and products, and for attending events that have been held throughout the year. Without community support we would not have been able to make this graduation ceremony as successful as it was. Thanks also to Lily and Hans Peters for the use of their beautiful yard to take our family pictures. We would also like to give a special thanks to some people who have worked extra hard: Bill Willis - for organizing meetings, staying late so many nights while we argued over this and that, and for his Yearbook photos, and creative talents on preparing the slide show. Pam McNeil - for helping us with our speeches and for her awesome rock building Kenda Jobson - for helping us with many things, such as basket raffles, organizing so many fundraisers, decorating, and putting up with our constant bickering and temper tantrums. Karen Schwerdt - for organizing the Many Islands Supper and helping with our auction and many other fundraisers. Karen Jensen and Cindy Braim - for organizing the Christmas Bazaar and helping with other fundraisers. Also thanks to Karen Jensen for donating an afghan that we raffled off. Kathy Anderson - for organizing the Christmas Banquet, helping with many fundraisers, and for preparing the Grad Memory Book. We cannot emphasize enough our appreciation, and we can only say that we've been lucky in the amount of support we have received to make this night A Walk To Remember!! BACK
