  On Wednesday, Feb. 19th the Students' Council traveled to Grande Prairie to attend a leadership conference called 'Be Unreasonable'. This conference not only dealt with the issues surrounding leadership, but also much more. We attended sessions on bullying, peer pressure, and racial issues, to name but a few of the topics covered. The conference began at 8:00am, and finished up at 11:00pm ... and it only broke for five minutes three times! After little debate, the Students' Council reached a consensus – the conference was GREAT! The Council brought back many new and exciting ideas, which they plan to implement into our school very soon. They would also like to extend a heart-felt thanks to the staff members and supervisors who accompanied us on our trip: Kenda, Mrs. Shilka, Taunya, and Louis Shilka.
