The Worsley School Sports Booster Club would like to say thank you to all of our sponsors. The gold medal was sponsored by Moffatt Construction. The silver medal was sponsored by Dunvegan Fab and Welding. The bronze medal was sponsored by H.K.P. Trucking. The most sportsmanlike team trophy was sponsored by Kelsey Bontrup. The MVP awards were sponsored by Patty McLarty/Allison's Embroidery. Kenda and Corey Jobson also provided the Worsley 4/5/6 team with shirts for all the players to wear, and they looked terrific. We would also like to recognize the Worsley Rec Board for advertising our tournament.
We would like to thank all of our medal sponsors, as the kids really enjoyed taking something home for all of their hard efforts.
We had many Parents and students who helped out with a lot of the refereeing, scorekeeping, kitchen, raffle table and cleanup. The following students helped and we would like to mention their names, as it was a great mentorship for them, and they did a terrific job: Cole, Ty, Renessa, Emily W, Jenna, Brittany, Megan, Chelsie, Jessie, Darla, Bailey, Micheal, Amanda N, Brooke, Desirae, Shelaine, Axel and Emily L. An extra big thank you goes out to Michelle and Kenda for coaching these young players; it sure makes it easier for these children when they hit junior high basketball and have some familiarity with the game. A huge thank you also goes out to our wonderful Mr. Willis for spending endless hours behind the camera capturing that perfect photo for all us to enjoy. Last but not least we need to thank all of the parents. The 4/5/6 parents all donated squares and veggies for the Booster Club to sell at the booth, and many parents and volunteers worked endless hours doing whatever was requested of them. Again thank you all for everything that you do to make the Worsley Sports Booster Club and these events a success for your children. You are creating memories for them that they will never forget.
