A Special Presentation
As the fifteen of us stand before you today, we are a melting pot of different schools. Some students came from Menno Simons, some from Hines Creek, one from Grande Prairie, two from Ontario, and the original three of us Trena, Laurie and Victoria) that started kindergarten here in Worsley. We have all formed a special bond with each other that only a class can through the years.
There is one other member present here tonight who started Kindergarten with us, but due to life's circumstances he is unable to stand here before you. Jimmy Moffatt is that student. I remember learning sign language so we could talk to Jimmy. He has been a big part of our life here at Worsley School. Jimmy has quite a personality when you get to know him. He can often be seen cruising the halls in his wheel chair.
I think that we are all better people from being able to attend school these past 13 years with Jimmy.
It gives the three of us, on behalf of the 2006 graduating class, a great honour and privilege to present to Jimmy an honorary diploma for his thirteen years of schooling here at Worsley Central School.
