The Class of 2006
Bev Shilka

As spring approaches and summer nears,
Its time once more to dream
Of Worsley's Graduation rites –
That old familiar theme.

Yet, Graduation brings forth each time
New thoughts and feelings true,
As each unique and separate class
Sees their schooling through.

School has been a big part of life
For each and every one
For all of these people here on stage
Their goal is finally won.

First Andrew Klassen, one of the class
With sports his goal in life
As basketball and volleyball
Cause him his major strife.

With next year's plans still in the air,
Andrew's open yet,
But that beckoning work force calls to him
And he is fully set.

Andrew plans to work next year
To start his new career;
His confidence is firmly placed
At work he'll persevere.

Next, Ashley Boyd fills full our screen,
Her joys are fully known,
Her education now complete;
My, how the time has flown.

Ashley plans to stay right here
To carve her niche in stone;
She's cool and independent
Creating her own home.

Ashley's quiet, unassuming style
And love of rural ways
Will help to make her life complete
And fill her future days.

Baylee Allen loves an active life
And all things out of doors.
Quading, camping, and riding
Are things that she adores.

Baylee also has big plans in place;
Animal Health Tech is her goal,
And with that sure-fire spirit,
We're sure she will excel.

Baylee's love of sports and more
And dedication real,
Will help her to succeed in life,
And adds to her appeal.

Now Colter Lee, an outdoorsman too,
Enjoys the farm's allure.
His love of hunting and of sports
Will keep his life real pure.

Colter plans to work next year,
Working on the big machines;
Gun smithing also calls to him,
On that he's very keen.

Colter knows just what it takes
To succeed at all he tries;
Hard work, with pride in all he does,
And never compromise.

Janelle Dimion, appears next to us,
A studious girl she is,
But sports and music, reading too
Make her life one big quiz.

Janelle looks forward to school next year;
Grande Prairie's where she'll be
Studying to be a teacher;
Education's her degree.

Janelle just loves the challenge
It keeps her on her toes,
Her success is surely guaranteed
No matter where she goes.

Jona Zacharias, an easy-going lad,
Loves all the sports, it is true,
Whether playing basketball or hunting,
Or cheering the Oilers on, on cue.

Jona plans to work next year,
Schooling for him, is done.
But we can be assured with him,
Hard work he will not shun.

The working world awaits for him;
With his steady and patient ways,
Good things will come, as he goes forth
In all his future days.

Jordan Poncilius has quiet ways
But there's a depth that's found.
Deep within his tranquil front
Profound thoughts there do abound.

Jordan plans for NAIT next year,
A trade is what he'll take,
But his flair for writing mythic tales
I'm sure that won't abate.

Jordan can always be counted on
To work for everyone.
He volunteers religiously
And helps to make life fun.

Josh Koop is the next one on the list
And a busy lad he's been,
With sports and music, working too
Gives life a strong routine.

Josh plans to go to Calgary
Mount Royal's in his sights,
Studying Computer Systems
With forethought and insight.

Josh, I'm sure, will make out fine,
As he ventures off away;
Hard work is no stranger to this lad,
So success is on its way.

Landon Larsback's filled with interests true
With quads and trucks his thing,
Or just hanging back with friends galore
Imagining what life will bring.

He plans to go to work next year,
But continue on to school,
Mechanics, his main goal in life;
He'll be nobody's fool.

Landon's soft and steady pace
Ensure that his life will be
Filled with friends and family.
On that we all agree.

Laurie Hale is an active girl,
Filled with school and sports and more.
Student Council, music, classes too
Her life is filled - full score.

Laurie plans to go on to school,
Nursing's her ambition true;
With her strong love for humanity,
She's sure to see it through.

Laurie knows just what it takes
To measure life's success,
So as she leaves us to go on,
I'm sure she will impress.

Martin Little came new to us.
This year he joined the class,
And with his sure and stalwart ways
Friends, he did amass.

Martin enjoys a range of things,
But music's his forte,
With golf and reading close at hand,
I'm sure he will not stray.

Martin seems to be right at home;
His quiet ways belie
A depth of character and more,
That we can verify.

Nick Little also came new this year,
And fit right in real quick;
His outgoing confidence
Added a new guy to the mix.

Nick's different interests call to him
A wide and varied style;
Studying music theory is his aim
In university, a while.

Nick also loves the sporting world;
Golf his claim to fame.
But hockey also is in his blood
And other sports to name.

Priscilla Klassen, a sweet young miss,
Whose activities do amass
From sports to Student Council fair,
While studious in class.

Priscilla plans to continue on in school;
Business Admin is what she'll take,
But she loves to write, right from the heart,
Leaving emotion in its wake.

Priscilla's also an outside girl,
Horses and trail riding give her an air.
A devoted personality shows that
She does really care.

Trena Schwerdt's wit and outgoing ways
Make her a winning force,
Whether it be at home or school
She is a strong resource.

Her life is filled right to the core
Her animals take her time,
But sports and Student Council too
Keep her right in prime.

Trena's life next year will move her far,
To Red Deer she will go,
To Marvel College campus lodge
Where she will steal the show.

Victoria Austin's a girl we'll miss
A gentle girl it's true,
Whose dedication to her school
Has certainly seen her through.

Victoria plans to continue on
Grande Prairie, she's planning for.
Early Childhood Development
Is where she can really soar.

Victoria's quiet, unselfish ways
Have given her resolve,
And many friends and comrades
About her do revolve.

And that concludes the class this year,
I hope that everyone
Has learned a little about this class
And enjoyed the slides for fun.

It is my fondest wish for them,
As they go forth in life,
Their futures hold a bright shining star
And it is free from strife.

May all your dreams come true and more,
And may your life be one
That's filled with happiness, success and love
As it has just begun.

Congratulations to the class of 2006!
