The grade 7, 8, and 9 classes wrote a poem about themselves. Each verse was contributed by a different student. For reasons which will become obvious, who wrote each verse will remain undisclosed. Enjoy!

This poem of ours describes a class;
You know them, every one.
There's a bunch of them in 7, 8, 9
… And now our poem's begun.
Renessa has a love for fun
She laughs and jumps about,
But once the class started,
She's as quiet as a mouse.
Michael is a grade nine boy,
Who needs to grow a brain;
He is always making fun of me,
And driving me insane.
Bailey loves to snowboard…
She's often at the hill.
She goes with all her friends
But always has a spill.
Amanda is a gentle one;
She wants to do well in class
And keep her marks up high
So she can one day pass.
Robin is a grade eight boy;
He likes to rebuild trucks
And hopes to be a mechanic
And maybe earn big bucks.
Michelle is a grade seven girl
She's good at many things
Welding, music, school and sports
No telling what her future brings.
Colby is a grade 8 boy;
You can find him at Future Shop
Looking for PSP games to play;
I'm sure he'll be on top.
Darla is a grade eight girl;
She loves her chocolate cake.
She has no time for boys, we heard
Because she likes to bake.
This girl in grade 9 is quite tall,
And she's cute, as is said in the hall;
She has a big dog
That poops like a hog
It's Emily, but you guessed, after all!
Kelsey is a grade 7 girl;
She is always at hockey games.
She watches her dad play;
… He will probably play for the Flames.
Axel, well you know him..,
He's always in the hall.
We think he may like Kelsey …
If only he were tall!
There is a grade 8 boy,
Hockey is his game
He will be really famous
And Brody is his name.
Nathan is a grade 7 boy
He likes to play with dolls;
His favourite one is Barbie ..
Until his mommy calls…
There is a grade 8 guy named Evan,
We're pretty sure he's over 11.
He hangs out with Colby,
Whose socks are all moldy,
And the two of them think Math is Heaven!
Michelle is a grade nine girl;
She's sometimes very stubborn.
But when I am very sad
She always comes a runnin'
Melanie is a grade nine girl;
Basketball is her sport.
She can dribble, shoot, and jump really high
Everywhere out on the court.
Ty is his name
Basketball is his game
Three pointers are his skill;
Although he'll soon be 'over the hill'!
Megan is her name
Hitting on Brett's her game
At this she is the best;
Better than the rest!
Destiny is her name
Her future is filled with fame.
She is the prettiest girl …
But this verse is pretty lame!
Brooke is her name;
She's right now in grade seven
If you say hello to her,
She'll think she is in heaven!
Cole can be a little weird
And he is never rude;
He wants to grow a beard
And be a skateboard dude.
Levi is his name
He loves to watch a hockey game.
He also watches cartoons a lot,
And games he thinks are hot.
Brett is his name
Hitting on Megan is his game;
At this he is the best;
Better than the rest!
Chelsie is her name, we know,
She likes music and reading books.
She plays a lot of active sports
And yes, it's true, she cooks.
His name is Kelsey B.
And he is kinda cool;
He likes watching hockey;
He thinks Calgary Flames rule!!
Jenna is her name
In basketball she is cool;
Sometimes at the blackboard
She asks for a tall stool.
Leslie is her name;
She's really kind of nice;
Whenever you need to know something
She's free with her advice.
Erica is her name,
This year she's in grade 9,
She's usually pretty friendly,
And her tattoo's really fine!
Aganetha is so sweet,
She is always helping others.
Knowing her is such a treat,
She will be an amazing mother.
Margaretha looks like her twin,
But she is all her own.
When in gym her team will win,
Her athletic skills are shown.
