On September 16, over 300 students, staff and community members from both Hines Creek and Worsley Schools participated in the Terry Fox run for cancer research. Participants could choose to run or walk the course, for a total of 5 kilometres, and sponsors donated cash to help support this worthy cause.
Our thanks to all who helped plan and run the event, as well as those who sponsored a student. Hines Creek students collected pledges totalling $3900; Worsley students collected a total of $3700.
