Some of the staff and students at Worsley School had very interesting summer vacations, and they passed a few photographs on to us, to share with you. Enjoy! Allison Ansorger Ms. Ansorger visited British Columbia in August and took some great photos of the wildlife there. She really wanted to get some pictures of grizzly bears, but she tells us she never even saw one! She had to settle for a postcard sign where she had someone snap her picture. Axel Axel spent the summer on the beach in Acapulco. Or at least, that's what he told us. He also told us about all the girls he met there, and the great parties. He came back with quite a bad sunburn. Brent Brent made a new friend this summer. He spent all of July and most of August entering his new friend in every competition he could find in northern Alberta. The only one he managed to win was 'Best Dressed Farm Animal'. Evan Evan was so impressed with the practice rock climbing last year that he enrolled in a real rock climbing school, and learned to rappel down the side of a mountain. This photo was taken shortly before the ambulance arrived. Jenna Jenna wanted to put her knowledge of cattle to use, and has always wanted to visit Spain, so she decided to see how difficult it would be to become a matador. This rare photo shows her practicing her newly aquired skills. Jocelyn Jocelyn had an unfortunate experience at a beach that she prefers not to talk about. It seems that Shelaine and some other friends buried Jocelyn in the sand up to her neck and left her there. This picture was taken just before dinner time ... Darren Phelps Mr. Phelps had a great vacation planned. He rented a luxurious cottage near Slave Lake, and hoped to spend the whole summer fishing and drinking Coke. Unfortunately his plans changed when he arrived at the rather small cottage he had rented ... Wacey Wacey spent a lot of his summer fishing on the west coast. Fortunately they were able to reattach his leg ... Colby Colby was in Edmonton and decided to try out for Canadian Idol this summer. He made it past the preliminaries and will be on the first episode of the show this fall. Brett Brett spent the whole in the back yard. He can now cook a steak without burning it. Usually. Bailey Bailey spent the month of July attending yoga classes in Ft. St. John. This photo was taken after she'd attempted an advanced position and was unable to free herself until the paramedics arrived. Brittany Brittany was offered a job working in a circus. She wasn't crazy about working with animals, but discovered she really likes wearing skimpy leather costumes! Daylan Daylan spent part of his summer at the Peace River Correctional Institution after being mistakenly arrested for protesting at a Wayne Newton concert. Michelle H. Michelle joined the circus with Brittany, but found herself assigned to the aerial acrobatic troupe, who were short a performer after an unfortunate incident when a net broke.
