Worsley School celebrated Education Week on April 28 by holding "Bring Your Parents to School Day". The day began with everyone enjoying a pancake breakfast, and then parents and their children, in all grades from Kindergarten through grade 12, went off to class to learn together. Parents attended classes (including recess), participated in the lessons, and did the assigned work along with their children (although thankfully parents weren't expected to complete the homework!) After a shared lunch, everyone gathered in the gym to participate in our "Hoops and Jump Rope for Heart" fundraiser. Our goal was to beat last year's total by raising $2000; instead students raised a total of just over $3000 in pledges. Thank you to all who made this day a great success!
