On Friday April 23, 1999, students from Worsley and Hines Creek High Schools began a 30-hour fast. Students stayed at the school and enjoyed various activities, without consuming anything except juice and water. The students collected pledges, and all money raised will be donated to World Vision to help the less fortunate in other countries. |
