The 1999 Provincials, held in Coleman, Alberta, were hosted this year by the Lundbreck Sabres, of Lundbreck, Alberta.
Our first game was against the Hay Lake Tigers, and our Wildcats won, scoring the winning basket in the dying moments of the game!
We then faced the Lundbreck Sabres, the host team, and the eventual winners of the tournament. Despite a hard-played game, our Wildcats went down to defeat against this strong team.
The final game against the Marwayne Tigers was a close one like the first, but this time we couldn't pull off a victory. Close games are always the most exciting ones!
T he team attended the official banquet, and also was able to take in the sights of the area, including Lundbreck Falls, and the Frank Slide.
