We'll be making designs on heavy paper or cardstock by first placing dots of acrylic paint in many colours, all over the paper in pleasing designs. You'll want large dots and thick lines of paint.

Then we'll pull a squeegee once down the full length of the paper to spread the paint.

Here are some sample patterns:


When you drag the squeegee down the paper, you may not get a pleasing result the first time. Experiment with different arrangements of paint and the pressure you place on the squeegee until you get a result you like.
