A group of students comprised of Jenna, Emily, Melanie, Chelsie, Leslie and Renessa chose to make a video in 2007 that was meant to be a spoof of the TV show "America's Next Top Model". As they were all female, they decided to be male models to make it more interesting. The script was written in just a few days, but with almost a hundred scenes to film, and numerous props and costume changes necessary, not to mention lines to memorize, actual filming took over a month. Leslie acted as cameraman, while the others took roles in the movie. Editing and producing the final movie took another week; due to the size of the video, this had to be done at home on a computer with a very fast processor. Worsley School Communications Technology classes produced videos for many years; 'America's Next Top Male Model' is by far the largest and most intricate movie our students have ever undertaken. Unfortunately, no copy of that video has survived. Here are some pictures we took while they were filming. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We had a tradition of presenting an award to the student who showed the most acting ability, both in on-screen demeanour and in dialogue, during the Communications Technology course. Many of our student actors displayed fine work in the various videos that were produced during the semester. However, this time the award went to Renessa, whose acting ability seemed to get better and better with every production she appeared in.
