"Get out, or else—!"

Aposiopesis occurs when a sentence is deliberately broken off, leaving
the ending to be supplied by the reader's imagination. The ending
can be marked with either an em dash (—) or an ellipsis (...)"

Here are a few examples:
  • "Bernie, you pop that gum one more time..."

  • "Why, you—"

  • "And I must pause till it comes back to me..."

  • "If you ever say that again I will—"

  • "But I thought he was..."

  • "If I had a million dollars—"
