The Planthopper

Tiny Planthopper larvae can act together to fool predators. They cluster on a branch in bunches, resembling flowers. Planthoppers can secrete a waxy substance from their abdomens that results in strange, fiber optic-like tails. Different Planthopper species have different extruding tails. The one above resembles a feathery dandelion, offering a clever form of camouflage.
