The Answer Key The answer key is above the (-) sign key; you will have to press the yellow '2nd' key first to access it. The answer key is an easy way to enter a complicated result that you need to work with some more, without having to retype the whole thing. For example, suppose you have to do this calculation first: (8+7) / 13 = 1.153846154 Now you want to continue by adding 4 to your answer, and then squaring the result. Rather that retyping the decimal result you just got, instead type: (4 + 2nd ANS) ^ 2 On the screen you will see   (4+ANS)^2 When you press 'ENTER', the calculator will retrieve the previous decimal answer and use it to do the new calculation for you.
