Shape Poems Sent by Our Visitors

From Teresa V. Liddell:
Tributaries
like blood vessels winding
through humankind - the surging
spring, like the heart, life and love flowing
forth - irrigating, bringing oxygen, nourishing,
animating this earthly body, this unearthly earth,
at last, at last, to collective rest in the soul, the sea;
then evaporating, drop by immortal, invisible drop, each the
essence of soul, of all the love dispersed, an aura which
could we but see bathes every moment, movement,
freed from constraint mankind knew, so painfully
that joy, that peace, that love, that destiny
to share - as sure as waves touch shore
that soul comes to body
- in truth -
One
let us be free,
let us be free, they whisper
- winds learn, sun knows -
warmth unveils the heart
gently sees
- rightly -
to
feel
- and know -
love encircles
- suffuses -
restores us
all
