I feel quite certain that it was he who had jumped after me ... It is his name which is inscribed on one of the tombstones in the cemetery at Laons, and on which the grateful people place flowers three times a year in memory of his sacrifice. A lot of questions will have been answered after you have read my book. It is titled: "Missing in Action - An R.C.A.F. Navigators Story" By John D. Harvie Your uncle lived in the suburb of Montreal known as Montreal West. After the war I attended a memorial service in his church for those who had made the supreme sacrifice. All the Best John It seemed that my uncle had indeed been a crew member on Mr. Harvie's last flight. I immediately ordered the book, and then had to wait several weeks for it to arrive.
