It is his name which is inscribed on one of the tombstones in the cemetery at Laons, and on which the grateful people place flowers three times a year in memory of his sacrifice.
A lot of questions will have been answered after you have read my book. It is titled:

Your uncle lived in the suburb of Montreal known as Montreal West. After the war I attended a memorial service in his church for those who had made the supreme sacrifice.

It seemed that my uncle had indeed been a crew member on Mr. Harvie's last flight. I immediately ordered the book, and then had to wait several weeks for it to arrive. But the wait was worth it! [continued...]
