In total, the pop and chocolate bar contain the equivalent of 95 grams of sugar. That's what you see in the picture above. Very few people would pick up the spoon and consume that pile of sugar. They instinctively know that it's likely to cause them problems! But who would hesitate to eat a chocolate bar and drink a pop? Our advice? Limit your intake of high-calorie snacks like pop and chocolate bars to once or twice a week. And don't forget that there's sugar of some sort in just about every food you eat ... including peanut butter, jam, ketchup, most juice drinks .... the list is endless. Fast food restauraunts put it in their hamburger buns to make them taste better! Learn to read the labels and make smart choices. |
